Mental Health Professionals Who Understand Your Struggles
When we formed Mindwell Urgent Care, it was out of a need for mental health services in the Dallas metro area for patients who cannot wait a month or three months to see a new provider. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, or a phobia, there are times when help truly cannot wait, and someone needs to see a specialist immediately.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. Patients love the in-person mental health services in our Dallas office, and we’ve been able to offer online therapy through tele-psychiatry services in Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Florida, and Kansas. This combination of both in-person and online support creates the vital link needed between patients seeking urgent mental health care and the providers who can support them.
Our network of online mental health providers has grown exponentially, so while we would love to highlight every one of them here, we simply cannot keep up with it.
We can, however, shine a light on our providers right here in our Dallas office. Our team continues to expand, as well as our office, and we’ll be updating this page as we add additional team members as well.

Professional Statement
I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health care. As the Medical Director of MindWell Urgent Care in Dallas, I offer same-day psychiatric evaluations and treatment for mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, substance use disorders, child and adolescent psychiatry, including autism and developmental disorders, and interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato.
I know that reaching out for psychiatric help can feel overwhelming — and I want you to know that at MindWell, we make it as easy as possible. We see patients the same day they reach out, so you don’t have to sit with your struggles while waiting weeks for an appointment. I treat children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, insomnia, and more. No matter what you’re going through or how long you’ve been dealing with it, you’ll find a nonjudgmental space here where your concerns are heard, your goals matter, and your care is built around you.
What is my typical process for working with clients?
When you come in, we start with a real conversation — not just a checklist. I want to understand your full picture: your history, your lifestyle, your sleep, your relationships, and what has or hasn’t worked for you before. From there we build a treatment plan together that’s tailored specifically to you. Depending on your needs, that might include medication management for conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, or bipolar disorder, interventional treatments like TMS or Spravato for treatment-resistant depression, supportive therapy, or lifestyle strategies around sleep, nutrition, and stress. For some patients, it also means carefully tapering off medications that are no longer serving them. Every decision is made collaboratively, and we adjust as we go. My goal is simple — to help you feel better, function better, and get your life back.

Mental Health Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Letourneau University.
I have had various counseling experiences with children, teens, and adults, focusing on a variety of issues, including anxiety and depression, PTSD, grief & loss, management and coping skills for stress, self-harm and suicidal ideations, body-image issues, abuse and trauma, marriage and family relational conflicts, and taking control of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have also had the opportunity of working with a nonprofit organization aiding in the setup of their counseling component for at-risk women.
I tend to take an eclectic approach to counseling, which means that I utilize therapeutic tools from a variety of theoretical approaches that I believe best suits each individual’s unique needs. These approaches include, but are not limited to, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems.
I have dedicated my life to working with clients and helping them develop strength and create change within themselves which will enable them to build a healthier and more rewarding outlook on life. I believe therapy should be about you and what is most important to you. I provide a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space where you are free to express your concerns, explore your fears, and work towards healing. I would consider it a privilege to partner with you as my client as you deepen your own self-awareness, achieve new insight, and work towards building the life you desire for yourself.
